With this update, you can now copy the Category settings from 1 Company Space to another. Easily setup a new Company Space, or align Category fields between different Company Space.
Details
1) Copy Category
Permission: Group Admin or Company Admin of both the original & target Company.
Copy the custom Category fields to another Company. Follow the instructions below.
- Go to Company > Settings > Category of the Original Company
- Click 'Copy Category'
- Select a Target Company, and click 'Next'
- You must have Company Admin permission or above for the Target Company to view/select
- Click 'OK' to proceed.
- If the Target Company is using Category fields, you must first reset it. Learn more on Reset Category
- Once the copying is complete, you can start using the new Category fields in your Target Company Space. Start adding the new Category to your Contents. Find more on Bulk Edit Category here.
2) Reset Category
Permission: Group Admin, Company Admin
- To use the Copy Category feature, the Category settings in Target Company must be reset.
- *Once you reset the Category, it will remove the Category selection made for existing Contents.
- Go to Company > Settings > Cateogry, and click 'Reset' on the upper right corner.
- Once the Category Reset is complete, you will see the default page as shown below.
