Objective
Manage the Category of your Content. Customize the field names to match your workflow.
Details
1) What is Category?
- CLO-SET 'Category' is a customizable field that helps identify the Content, as well as filter the Content for a faster search.
- Best Practice:
- We recommend using the Category field for unique terms/labels for your team.
- ex) 'Basic' line, 'Boyfriend' line, / 'Sunshine Orange', 'Midnight Blue', etc.
- For generic terms, CLO-SET AI-Search will detect it for you.

2) Category by Content
- Identify the Category of each Content.
- Editors or above can make changes.
- Fields are customizable by Company Admin or above in Company Settings page.
3) Category Multi-select (Bulk Edit Category)
- In your Workroom, select the Content(s).
- From the multi selection bar above, click 'Category' (multi select content: ctrl/cmd + left mouse button)
- Select the Category to be applied to selected Contents.*
- Please note that the pre-existing categories of each Content will be overwritten.
4) Category Settings
- Category fields are customizable in Company Settings page.
- You may add up to 4 depths of Category.

The View Options toggle in the Category tab allows to choose between two display modes for how category information appears on the Content Page.

Last Depth (Default)
Displays only the final (deepest) category level selected for the content.
This option keeps the category display concise and minimal.
2. Full Depth
Displays the entire hierarchy of the selected category—from the top level to the final depth—within the Content Page information.
This option provides full visibility into the category structure.
5) Filter by Category
Search faster by filtering the Category. Filters are available on the Search tab OR in Workrooms.
Select the Category filter and choose categories to search. You can use AND or OR conditions:

AND: Includes content with both “A” and “B”

OR: Includes content with either “A” or “B”
