[2025-06] New in CLO-SET, Custom View Thumbnail!

With this update, you can make your content thumbnail easier to view by specifying them from your preferred view.

Details

1) What is Custom View?

Custom View is a function in CLO3D that allows you to save a certain Viewpoint.

In CLO-SET, now we support thumbnail image and turntable images based on the Custom View.

💡 Note: Custom View is available only for .zprj files as the Custom View data is only saved

                for .zprj file

💡 Note: Custom View is applied to anywhere utilizing thumbnail features, including Linesheet,

                 Visual Board, Web Tech Pack and any other thumbnail images in CLO-SET.

 

 

2) Selecting Custom View option on CLO-SET Space / Dashboard

In the Space and Dashboard areas of CLO-SET, you can select the "Custom View as Thumbnail" option when uploading a file.

3) Selecting Custom View option on CLO-SET Content page

  1. 'Custom View' option is also available on the Content page of CLO-SET. By selecting Version Update on the Content page and choosing a single file, you can select the "Custom View as Thumbnail" function option.Body.png

4) Selecting Custom View option on CLO Software

  1. When directly uploading from CLO software to CLO-SET, you can also use the Custom View function.

    By clicking the CLO-SET tab at the top, you can select either "Upload to CLO-SET" or "Render via CLO-SET." At this point, on the CLO-SET screen that appears, you can activate the function by clicking "Use Custom View as Thumbnail" toggle.

    * If the file does not have a custom view, this toggle will not be activated.

  2. In the CLO software, you can access User Settings to configure options related to version updates.

    Here, you can enable the "Custom View as Thumbnail" function, which allows you to apply the custom view feature when working on a file imported from the CLO-SET library and performing an immediate version update.

    This operates independently of the Custom View Thumbnail function on the Direct Upload (Share via CLO-SET) described earlier.
