2) Open CLOFAB
- From your dashboard, click
button in the bottom-left corner to create a new fabric.
Or, follow the steps below to open CLOFAB from a Workroom or Company Library. The fabric you create will be uploaded directly to that Workroom or Company Library.
Go to the Workroom or Company Library.
Click '+ NEW' button at the top left corner. Select Create New Fabric option from the drop-down list.
3) Generate Seamless Map
Use an existing image to generate a seamless map.
Alternatively, use the CLO zFab Scanner to capture high-resolution texture maps from physical fabric samples.
- Open Maps
-
Click the
button to open your map images.
* Be sure to select all corresponding PBR maps at once.
- Auto Tiling
CLOFAB’s Auto Tiling uses pattern recognition to instantly create seamless repeating fabric maps.
-
Click and drag on the map image to define a repeat section.
→ The CLOFAB automatically analyzes the selected area, identifies the optimal repeat region, displays it as a grid, and previews the seamless repeating result.✨Tip: Auto Tiling works best when your selection includes about four repeats, providing the best balance between accuracy and speed.
-
By default, the pattern type is automatically set based on the map characteristics, but you can change it manually if needed.
* Pattern Type is available only in Auto mode.
Pattern Type
Description
Plain/Irregular
Fabrics with a single solid color of fabrics with irregularly scattered patterns.
📝Note: This option analyzes the fabric using the normal map and only works when a normal map is included.
Repeat
Fabrics with evenly repeating patterns.
- Manual Tiling
When you want to specify an area manually, switch to Manual Mode and adjust it directly.
-
In the Settings panel, toggle Auto Mode off.
-
Click and drag to define a repeat section.
* You can refine it by dragging the corner or edge points to freely shape it into a polygon.→ The selected area is repeated as is.
- Post-processing
-
If the tiled fabric looks uneven in brightness, adjust it with the Equalize option in the Settings panel.
4) Generarte Drape
Simply enter your Fabric Type, Composition and Density to quickly create new accurate fabrics
*After generating the map, it will also appear in the Physical Property preview, allowing you to review both the map and its physical properties at the same time.
- Create
-
Click the Physical Property tab.
-
Select a fabric type.
-
Select the composition and enter the value (%).
* Basic refers to the primary composition used for the selected fabric type, while Additional refers to compositions that can be combined as extras.
-
Enter the Weight and Thickness, and Click
button.
→ The fabric is draped based on the entered values and previewed.
- You can check and adjust each physical property value directly in the Advanced Details at the bottom if needed.
- Set Options
Toggle to switch between model types.
5) Upload Fabric
Upload the created maps and physical properties as a fabric file directly to CLO-SET, and share it instantly with your team!
-
Click
button at the top right of CLOFAB.
-
Enter the fabric information, such as Fabric Name, Supplier, and Owner, then click the Go to CLO-SET button.
