Details
1) Creating Comment
1. Create Comment: click icon from top-right corner, and start creating comments. You can tag individual user or Teams by using @ (ex. @clovirtualfashion). Maximum length is 3000 letters.
*Please note that mentioning a non-member will automatically grant can View access.
2. Create Editor: You can edit the color, font, background color, or add emojis and attachments on the comment. Supported formats for attachments are: png, jpg, jpeg, pjpeg, gif, bmp. You may attach up to 25 files per Comment. Shortcut keys available on Edit Mode:
Bold: Ctrl (Cmd) + B
Italic: Ctrl (Cmd) + I
Underline: Ctrl (Cmd) + U
@Mention: @ + name
Emoji 😊: [Window + . ] OR [Ctrl+Cmd+Space Bar]
In addition, bullet & numbering is also available as below. To add a bullet, add an asterisk (*) and hit space
3. View All Versions: By default, you will comments on all Versions. Uncheck to only view the comments created on current Version.
Comment on the Content Page
In New Content Page : Click the Comment icon at the top right of the content page, enter your comment, and click Post. (type in comments, and tag teammates with "@" . You must first invite the teammate for tagging)
The Comment feature has been expanded to the content level, allowing comments to be added while reviewing different tabs.
An activity log is also available for review.
(Note: The activity log is only accessible to users with Editor-level permissions or higher.)
In Legacy Content Page : Click the Comment icon (
) from the right pane and type in comments, and tag teammates with "@" (You must first invite the teammate for tagging)
Attach Images to your Comment (updated Feb 2024)
- Drag & Drop Images from your local drive.
- Preview Images before posting.
- Availability to post Images only (without a text).
AI Translator in Comments
CLO-SET now supports AI-powered translation in comments to improve cross-language collaboration.
Available in both Space Comments and Content Comments
Click Translate on a comment to view it in your preferred language
This feature helps teams communicate more effectively across regions and languages without leaving the platform.
2) Search Comment
- Search the comment you're looking for. Type in the keyword, and hit enter to view the results at the bottom.
3) Workroom & Assortment Comment
- Commenting is also available at the Workroom and Assortment level.
- Please see below for details on Permissions (create, edit, and delete)
4) Web Tech Pack Comment
- Commenting is also available on all Web Tech Pack tabs.
- Comments are created/saved separate on each Tab (Overview, BOM, Construction, Measurement, and Cost Estimation).
- Under each Comment, you can find the version information of the uploaded file.
- Please see below for details on Permissions (create, edit, and delete)
Note : Web Tech Pack and Web Tech Pack comments are only available in the legacy Content Page.
In the New Content Page, a unified comment feature is provided at a higher level, allowing you to leave comments across all tabs, including BOM, POM, and Cost Estimation.

*Can only Edit/Delete comments created by oneself, cannot modify comments created by other users.
**Permission varies on Space Level. To start using Comment features, user must have permission to the applicable Space/Content. For example, if a user holds Content Editor permission, they can create new Comment on that Content, but may not be able to create Workroom Content.
6) Notification
- When a Comment is created/edited/deleted, notification will be sent to the users with permission to the Workroom/Assortment/Content.
- To stop receiving notifications, end users can turn off notification settings on specific Space or Content by unchecking the 'bell' button.
- Notification of new Comments will be displayed on the Notifications tab.
- Email Notification may be sent based on the end user's notification settings on 'My Page'.
- Depending on the notification settings, user can either receive all notifications or only those that are relevant.
