Objectives
With this update, you can view the garment Strain map as done in CLO3D.
Details
1) Strain Map in Content Page
In the Content Page, click the 'Strain Map' icon, or use shortcut key (alt/option⌥ + 7)
Once Strain Map is activated, you can find the Tightness Range bar on the top right.

- Content must have been uploaded after December 6th, 2023. If you see below error message, please re-upload the file to view Strain Map.
- Strain Map is only applied to garments, not avatars.
- Strain Map is NOT compatible with:
- Garment Rendering Style Group
- Schematic Render
- Render
- Configurator
- Filter
2) What is Strain Map?
Strain Map displays the distortion rate from 2D patterns to 3D patterns. This view is the same as CLO3D's 'Strain Map' view in 'Monochrome' mode.
- (3D pattern size / 2D Pattern size * 100)%
Blue: 100% distortion, which means no distortion keeping the original pattern stretch
Red: 120% distortion. The higher the rate is, the more distortion there are between 2D & 3D patterns.
You may adjust the pattern placement/size based on the Strain Map data.
